Growing the organic market in South Africa

Though the market for organic products in South Africa is still relatively small, it is experiencing phenomenal growth. Good Life Organic was established in 2006 to capitalise on this growth.

We are a small but dynamic company that believes in the nutritional and environmental benefits of organic production methods. Issues of sustainability, fair trade and ethical dealings are central to our business practices.

Good Life Organic imports and has sole distribution rights for St Clair’s Organic Tea and Green Tea from Sri Lanka. We also import a range of organic spices from the East which we repackage under the Good Life Organic brand.

Good Life Organic has also begun manufacturing marmalade from locally sourced certified organic ingredients and is in the process of developing a range of relishes and chutneys.

We also repackage a range of seeds, dried fruits, nuts and legumes that we import or source locally.

Good Life Organic seeks to expand by supporting local producers and producing value-added products. Alternatively, when produce cannot be sourced locally, we look to directly import these from international producers or wholesalers.

Our commitment to our customers is that we will always source and supply the finest organic products, free of synthetic fertilizers or pesticides, genetically modified organisms or any preservatives. We have no doubt that you will enjoy the taste of food that is as natural as possible.
